HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Jordan Hill, a 6-foot-6 sophomore forward from Philadelphia, Miss., and Trenisha Adams, a 5-5 senior guard from Rome, Ga., have been named Oakwood University's Co-Players of the Week for the week ending Nov. 2. Hill averaged 15.5 points, had four steals, two blocks and one assist for the Ambassadors last week. He had 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting, including a 3-pointer in a loss to Dalton State. Hill finished with 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting in a loss to Washington Adventist Saturday night. All total, Hill shot 61 percent (11-of-18) from the field, 50 percent (1-of-2) from 3-point range, and 66 percent (8-of-12) from the free throw line. He also had four steals, two blocks and one assist. Adams, a preseason All-HBCU Athletic Conference second team selection, averaged 14.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, four steals and three assists last week. She had 18 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and two assists in a win over Pensacola Christian College. Adams followed up that effort with 11 points, nine rebounds, four steals and four assist in a narrow loss to Washington Adventist. All total, Adams shot 38.4 percent (10-of-26) from the field, including 41 percent (9-of-22) from 3-point range.
