ETTRICK, VA – The Virginia State men's basketball exploded offensively yet again after taking down the Bruins of Carolina University 105-65. The Trojans shot an incredible 12-of-24 (50%) from the three-point range while shooting 59% from the field. The VSU bench showed out against Carolina accounting for 37 points. VSU outrebounded the Bruins 38-14 in the contest. Virginia State forced 24 turnovers while accounting for a season-high 15 steals in the contest. They also earned a season-high 27 assists in the contest. Daryl Mackey, Jr. recorded his first double-digit game of the season scoring 13 points
