High Point's Chris Van Niekerk Qualifies for National Meet in Shot Put

LEXINGTON, Ky. – At the first day of the NCAA East First Round Track & Field Championships, High Point University's Chris Van Niekerk punched his ticket in the men's shot put for a spot in the NCAA National Championships in Eugene, Oregon.  The Championships begin on June 5th and continue through June 8th.
