Newport News, Va. … Hampton director of athletics Anthony Henderson Sr. was the featured speaker at the Peninsula Sports Club's 73rd annual Headliners Night on June 26 at the Holiday Inn Newport News. Curt Newsome, head football coach at Emory & Henry, was named the group's Person of the Year. Will Driscoll, executive director of the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame, served as master of ceremonies.
