MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan University women's soccer team earned a decisive 4-0 victory over Mount Olive University on Tuesday evening. The Hawks combined an efficient offensive attack with a steady defensive performance to secure the shutout. The night consisted of a couple Hawks netting their first goals of the season and another posting a season-high mark to help fuel the win. With the victory, Chowan improves to 2-4-0 overall and 2-2-0 in league play, while Mount Olive drops to 1-5-0 on the season and 0-3-0 in conference action.
