MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan University volleyball team secured a straight-set victory over Young Harris College on Friday evening. The Hawks opened with a 25-21 win in the first set, followed by a dominating 25-8 performance in the second. Young Harris responded with a strong effort in the third, but Chowan held its ground to secure the match with a 28-26 decision. With the victory, the Hawks improve to 3-12 overall and 2-5 in conference play, while the Mountain Lions fall to 4-11 on the season and 1-6 in league action.
