Virginia Union University Golf Team competed in the 2025 PGA Works Collegiate Championship Tournament on May 5th-7th, 2025. The tournament was hosted on The Whistling Straits and Irish courses. Whistling Straits is located in Kohler, Wisconsin. Whistling Straits, designed by the late Pete Dye, is a renowned golf course known for its challenging links-style layout and breathtaking views of Lake Michigan. The Straits, in particular, is celebrated for its dramatic elevation changes, rugged bunkers, and windswept terrain, reminiscent of Scottish links course proved to be a challenge for all the golfers. The tournament was a 54-hole tournament. The final day was a challenge to all the golfers with wind gusts up to 35 miles per hour.
