Gardner-Webb Leads Big South Men's Golf Championship After First Round

FRIPP ISLAND, S.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) – Gardner-Webb posted a team aggregate score of 8-under par 276 and holds a two-shot lead after the first round of the 2024 Big South Men's Golf Championship on Thursday.  High Point (-6, 278) and Winthrop (-2, 282) also finished under par as a team for second- and third-place, respectively.  The Championship is being contested at the Ocean Creek Golf Course (par 71, 6,526 yards) on Fripp Island, S.C.
