Fayetteville State's Angelica Locklear, a freshman from Pembroke, NC, was named the CIAA Softball Week #6 Food Lion Defensive Player of the Week. The first baseman collected a career-high 13 putouts in the Broncos' 9-8 victory over Johnson C. Smith. Fayetteville State had a total of 21 putouts and 17 assists.
