BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- Fifth-year forward Fran Soares-Cupertino of the West Virginia State University women's soccer team was dubbed the Mountain East Conference (MEC) Offensive Player of the Week for her two-goal effort in a 3-1 win over UINDY on Sunday afternoon.
