USC Upstate's Jake Cubbler, UNC Asheville's Justin Honeycutt, Presbyterian College's Tanner Smith and Winthrop's Parker Whittle were among the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Stopper of the Year Award Preseason Watch List, as announced by the organization late Wednesday. Cubbler, Honeycutt and Smith were preseason All-Conference selections in January.
