First place Lions earn 5th straight victory with 92-74 win over St. Thomas

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | Florida Memorial cruised to their fifth victory in a row, this time in a 94-72 win over St. Thomas in round two of the Battle of Miami Gardens at the Fernandez Family Center. FMU guard Tianna Ayulo dominated the Bobcats all afternoon and finished with a game-high 28 points on 11-of-18 shooting from the field, including 5-for-7 from the free-throw line. The victory keeps FMU in first place in the Sun Conference women's basketball standings.
