Daytona Beach, Fla. ( Mar. 16, 2023) --- Delaware State's Ana Ferreyra-Heit (sr.) was tied for third place among nearly 80 competitors, while Delaware State ranked fourth in the final team standings at the two-day Sacred Heart Invitational this week. The Hornets finished the tournament with a two-day total of 629, twenty-four strokes behind first place Sacred Heart (605) and just three behind third place Howard (626) in the 15-team field. Ferreyra-Heit was tied for first place with a score of 73 after the opening round but fell back to a tie for third by posting a 77 in the final round to finish the tournament at 150, four shots behind the winner Chantal El Chaib of Sacred Heart.
