DENMARK, S.C. – Damon Fann and Jamarkus Alexander combined for 46 points, but Oakwood University came up short Saturday night as Voorhees University outlasted the Ambassadors 84-80 in overtime in an important HBCU Athletic Conference game inside the Leonard E. Unfortunately, the Tigers outscored the Ambassadors 15-11 in the extra period to come away with the victory. The loss dropped Oakwood to 4-23 overall and 3-14 in league play. Voorhees improved to 7-18 and 4-13. Fann finished with a game-high 27 points and seven rebounds. He was 9-of-16 from the field, including 3-of-6 from 3-point range, and 6-of-7 from the free throw line. Fann also had four steals and three assists.
