BOWIE, MD- The Elizabeth City State volleyball team captured their 25th win over Bowie State in the playing series and capped off an 8th-straight victory at A.C. Jordan Arena in Bowie, MD Thursday night. Junior outside hitter Victoria White lead the offensive assault against a well improved Bowie State team with 14 kills, the most against CIAA opponents this season. Elizabeth Kellum aided in finding hitters tonight posting a season-high 23 assists and dropped nine kills and three solo blocks of her own. On the defensive side, sophomore setter Kayleigh Sullivan's 10 digs led the way and helped keep the Bowie State offensive on edge holding their top offensive players to a combined 16 kills. The team amassed 48 kills for the match and held the Bulldogs to a .069 hitting percentage; in response, the Vikings posted a .207 hitting percentage.
