Setter of the Week Junior | Setter | Humacao, Puerto Rico Rivera Rodriguez had a team-high 82 assists and 10.25 assists per set with 18 digs, five kills, four blocks, and one ace as Mercy went 1-1 on the week. The junior opened the week with a match-high 38 assists to go with four kills, four digs, one ace, and one block in the Mavericks' 3-0 win over Pace on Tuesday. The setter ended the week with a double-double by way of 44 assists and 14 digs to go with three blocks and one kill in Mercy's five-set loss at undefeated Post on Thursday. Rookie of the Week Freshman | Setter | Chicago, IL In a span of four matches, rookie setter Kylynn White delivered a remarkable all-around performance, leading the team with 49 kills, 44 assists, 38 digs, 12 service aces, and 8 blocks. The Illinois native also registered three double-doubles throughout the week. White concluded the stretch with a career-high 19 kills on a .385 hitting percentage, along with six service aces, in a standout performance against Holy Family University on Saturday afternoon. ECC Weekly Honor Roll Senior | Outside Hitter | Caguas, PR Malpica led Daemen offensively in all three matches at the Wildcat Classic this weekend, totaling 44 kills (3.66 kills/set) while adding 49 digs (4.08 digs/set), three aces, and one solo block. The senior outside hitter posted double-doubles in two of the three matches of the weekend, finishing with 21 kills and 20 digs against Dallas Baptist on Saturday afternoon. Julia Zalta, Molloy Graduate Student | Setter | Great Neck, NY Zalta was a force on all sides of the court in an undefeated week for Molloy. The graduate student averaged 6.25 assists per set, putting up 20 or more in all three contests, while also averaging 3.25 kills and 1.67 digs per set. The setter had two double-doubles on the week: 25 assists and 11 kills against Bridgeport and 30 assists and a career-high 20 kills against West Chester.
