Goubet opened the week on Friday against the District of Columbia by clinching both the doubles and overall match point, earning a 6-1 win in doubles before posting a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Polina Zelentsova. On Saturday against D'Youville, Goubet once again secured both the doubles and match clinchers, starting with a 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles and rallying for a 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 comeback victory at No. 1 singles over Mina Randjelovic. To cap off an undefeated week, Goubet clinched Queens' Sunday win over Daemen with a dominant 6-1, 6-0 performance against Marley Conover. Rookie of the Week Freshman | Novi Sad, Serbia Vasic went undefeated during Queens' 3-0 ECC week, finishing with a combined 4-0 record in singles and doubles alongside Marie Bertran. Vasic opened play on Friday with a 7-6 (7-4) doubles victory over UDC's Celia Bastin and Polina Zelentsova at No. 1 court. On Saturday against D'Youville, the QC freshman again went 2-0, earning a 7-5 doubles win over Munisa Ashurbekova and Nele Herst before claiming a 6-3, 6-2 singles victory over Miranda Bosch at No. 5. To conclude the fall season, Vasic moved up to No. 2 singles on Sunday and cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win against Daemen's Stephanie Baier. ECC Weekly Honor Roll Senior | Villelaure, France Bertran capped off her fall season in style, finishing 2-0 in singles and 3-0 in doubles during Queens' perfect ECC week. Bertran began with a strong 2-0 performance against UDC, teaming with Vasic for a 7-6 (7-4) doubles win at No. 1 before adding a 6-0, 6-4 singles victory over Lina Benjelloun at No. 3. Against D'Youville, she repeated the feat, securing a 7-5 doubles win with Vasic at No. 2 and followed it up with a 6-3, 6-4 singles win over Mina Randjelovic. On Sunday, Bertran partnered with junior Allycia Santa-Cruz at No. 3 doubles, where the new duo earned a 6-2 victory over Ashley Bonilla and Lily Goodemote to complete the doubles sweep against Daemen. Sophomore | Kharkiv, Ukraine Shaparenko went 2–0 in singles play, including a dominant 6–2, 6–2 victory over Shreethika Vangala of St. Thomas Aquinas to help lead the Firebirds to a 5–2 conference win. She followed that up with a three-set comeback victory at No. 4 singles against Queens, rallying from a set down to win 2–6, 7–5, 1–0 (6) for UDC's lone singles win of the match.
