Rookie of the Week Freshman | Defender | King's Park, NY Zawol put together a breakout week as part of the Lions’ backline of defense that went 1-0-1. The freshman netted her first goal of her career, which served as the game-winner against #7 Franklin Pierce while playing all 90 minutes on Wednesday. On Saturday against Mercy, she collected her first career assist that helped bring the Lions back from behind to draw 2-2 with the Mavericks. On the week, Zawol totaled three points (one goal and one assist) in 146 minutes on the pitch. ECC Weekly Honor Roll Senior | Forward | Freeport, NY Dixon scored a goal in the Mavericks' 2-2 draw against Molloy on Saturday. The goal scored in the 63rd minute gave Mercy a 2-0 lead over the defending ECC Champions and gave Dixon the school record for career points with 88. Macayla Hansen, Daemen Freshman | Midfielder | Highlands Ranch, Co Hansen logged three points (1 goal, 2 assists) in two wins during the week, contributing significantly to the victories. She notched her first career point, assisting Daemen's first goal in a 3-1 win over Bentley on Tuesday. Hansen then scored her first career goal to put the Wildcats up 2-0 in the 15th minute during their 3-0 ECC opening win over STAC on Saturday. Camila Salvador, Mercy Freshman | Midfielder | Santiago, Chile Salvador had a team-high-tying three points on the week. The freshman scored her first career goal and added an assist in Mercy's 2-2 draw against defending ECC Champion Molloy on Saturday. Becca Schultz, Daemen Senior | Goalkeeper | Grand Island, NY Schultz posted a 2-0 record, 0.53 GAA, and a .900 save percentage in two games this week, logging 168 minutes between the pipes. The senior made 9 saves in a 3-1 victory over Bentley on Tuesday. She stopped six shots in the first half against the Falcons, then made three more crucial saves in the second to secure the win. Schultz posted the 14th shutout of her career in a 3-0 win over STAC on Saturday. Oksana Zahirna, Staten Island Sophomore | Goalkeeper | Lviv, Ukraine In the non-conference matchup with Saint Michael's on Wednesday, the sophomore recorded the most saves in a game with 22, marking the highest ever in CSI's Division II and III eras.
