The sophomore opened the week with a game-high two goals with one assist in the Mavericks' 6-3 win over Holy Family on Wednesday. The forward ended the week with the game-winning goal in the 53rd minute in Mercy's 1-0 win at regionally ranked Saint Anselm on Saturday. Defensive Player of the Week Senior | Goalkeeper | Grand Island, NY Schultz posted a 2-0 record, a 1.00 GAA, and a .900 save percentage in two games this week, combining for 18 saves in the contests. She made eight saves in the victory over RWU on Wednesday, then stopped 10 shots in the win over Queens on Saturday. She stopped six shots in the second half against Queens to help the Wildcats preserve the lead. Rookie of the Week Freshman | Defender | Mattituck, NY Szczotka scored her first career goal in the Mavericks’ 6-3 win over Holy Family on Wednesday and helped lead a Mercy backline that posted a shutout against regionally ranked Saint Anselm on Saturday. The freshman played all 180 minutes in a 2-0 win for the Mavericks. ECC Weekly Honor Roll Senior | Goalkeeper | Staten Island, NY Recorded her first win of the season in goal during the 2-1 victory over STAC. Through 90 minutes, she made six saves for her second-highest tally of the season. Ancksu Dixon, Mercy Senior | Forward | Freeport, NY Dixon had five points on a goal and a team-high three assists in the Mavericks' 6-3 win over Holy Family on Wednesday. The senior set a new school record for career goals with her 35th goal. Mackenzie Hagen, Roberts Wesleyan Sophomore | Forward | Bergen, NY Sophomore Mackenzie Hagen led the Redhawks to a 3-0 win on the road at American International with a pair of goals, including the game-winner and a penalty kick goal late in the game. She currently leads the team with five goals and 12 points this season. Kylie Miranto, Daemen Senior | Forward | North Tonawanda, NY Miranto was a star again this week for the Wildcats, logging six points with two goals and two assists, helping the Wildcats to two wins after scoring the game-winning goal against RWU (Wed.) and Queens (Sat.). Her one goal vs. RWU helped her become the fourth player in program history to reach 100 career points. Against Queens on Saturday, Miranto posted her fourth four-point performance of the season, registering a goal and two helpers. Elyse Muñoz, Molloy Junior | Goalkeeper | East Setauket, NY Muñoz picked up a pair of wins in goal for the Lions. On Tuesday against Pace, Muñoz made a pair of saves to help secure Molloy's 2-1 victory. On Saturday against St. Thomas Aquinas, the junior was forced to make one save to secure her fifth shutout of the season.
