Bowler of the Week Senior | Attleboro, Mass. Hillman played a crucial role in the 13th-place finish for the Bulldogs this past weekend at the Destination Orlando Tournament in Orlando, Fla. The Bryant senior posted an overall baker average of 20.78 and a traditional average of 19.42, finishing 23rd overall individually. Hillman helped her team start the season with a win over nationally-ranked #6 Arkansas State, followed by wins against #12 Duquesne and #16 UMES throughout the weekend. She notched an overall fill percentage of 89.1 percent along with a strike percentage of almost 46.0 percent. Rookie of the Week Freshman | Worcester, Mass. Swenson led Bryant on Friday with a 20.18 baker frame average, helping contribute to her 18.94 overall baker average for the weekend. The freshman also helped her team catch a win against nationally-ranked #14 Mount St. Mary's on Saturday, along with two nationally-ranked wins on Sunday. ECC Weekly Honor Roll Sophomore | Chambersburg, Pa. At the Destination Florida Tournament, McNemar helped secure two wins for the Hawks. Out of 168 bowlers, McNemar finished 60th in the individual standings with a 173.00 average across five matches. In traditional play, McNemar averaged 17.30 per frame, with a 8.6 first ball average and an 88.9 percent pin spare conversion. In Baker play, McNemar averaged 17.90 per frame, with an 8.89 first ball average, 36.6 percent strike rate, and 71 percent single pin spare conversion. Freshman | Auburn, N.Y. Smead finished 74th in the individual standings out of 168 bowlers at the Destination Florida Tournament, averaging 153.80 through five matches. In traditional play, Caroline had a 8.0 first ball average and 40 percent first ball “9+” percentage. She posted a 50.0 percent all spare conversion percentage and 87.5 percent single pin spare conversion. In Baker play, Smead recorded an 88.9 single pin spare conversion percentage.
