ECC Men's Volleyball Report - Week Four

Player of the Week Freshman | OH | Irondequoit, NY DeJohn led the offense for Roberts Wesleyan in a 2-1 week with wins over Buffalo State and Rockhurst. The RWU freshman totaled 32 kills (.222 attack percentage) with a match-high of 13 in the come-from-behind victory over Rockhurst. DeJohn added 20 digs, with eight against Rockhurst. Defensive Player of the Week Freshman | Libero | Aktau, Kazakhstan Todorov recorded 21 digs and four assists over four total sets against LIU this past weekend. Setter of the Week Freshman | S | Shorewood, IL Brouwer had another strong week with 95 assists in three matches (12 sets) and added 17 digs and 10 aces for Roberts Wesleyan. The RWU freshman setter’s best match came in a four-set win over Buffalo State, when he hit a season-high 40 assists with 10 digs and a pair of aces. In five sets against Rockhurst, Brouwer notched 37 assists and eight aces. Rookie of the Week Freshman | S | Shorewood, IL Brouwer had another strong week with 95 assists in three matches (12 sets) and added 17 digs and 10 aces for Roberts Wesleyan. Redshirt Freshman | OH | Old Bridge, NJ Krapf recorded three kills against CSUN and eight against USC before following up with a career-high 12 kills against Pepperdine.
