In the weekend ECC match at STAC, he led a strong defensive effort in a 1-0 road win at Sparkill that clinched one of the top two spots in the final ECC Standings and a first-round bye in the ECC Tournament. Defensive Player of the Week Senior | Goalkeeper | Binghamton, NY Senior Eric Jewson led the Redhawks to a pair of wins last week and helped Roberts clinch one of the top two seeds in the ECC Tournament. He made eight saves in a 2-1 win over Saint Michaels (ranked 10th in the East Region) in a mid-week game and then turned away nine shots in a huge 1-0 win at STAC on Saturday for his fourth shutout of the season and seventh of his career. He ranks second in the conference in goals-against average and is the conference leader in saves, save percentage, and saves per game. Rookie of the Week Alexander Moody-Stuart, District Of Columbia Freshman | Midfielder | Antigua and Barbuda Moody-Stuart scored the game-winning goal in the Firebirds’ 1–0 road victory at Staten Island, finishing a perfectly executed sequence off a corner in the 70th minute — his third goal of the season and third game-winner. ECC Weekly Honor Roll Senior | Goalkeeper | Barakaldo/Vizcaya/Spain Senior goalkeeper Sergio Becerra anchored the Firebirds’ defense in a standout week that saw UDC clinch a postseason berth and extend its unbeaten streak to six matches. Becerra posted back-to-back shutouts in East Coast Conference play, including a 1–0 Senior Day victory over Daemen University and a 1–0 road win at Staten Island earlier in the week. Across both matches, he totaled six saves and commanded a Firebird defense that allowed just eight shots on goal combined. John Hollis, Mercy Junior | Midfielder | Bradford, England Hollis scored a game-high and career-high two goals in Mercy's 4-1 win at STAC on Wednesday. Brennan Murphy, Molloy Sophomore | Midfielder | Oceanside, NY Murphy was a catalyst for the Molloy offense in a 1-0-1 week. The sophomore netted his first goal of the season in Wednesday's 1-1 draw against Queens. On Saturday against D'Youville, Murphy found the back of the net for the second straight game to help lead the Lions past the Saints to clinch a spot in the ECC Tournament. On the week, Murphy tallied four points on two goals, collected four shots with two coming on goal in 180 minutes. Junior | Goalkeeper | Anderson, SC Sanchez went 1-0-1 in goal with nine saves, a .900 save percentage, a 0.50 goals-against average, and one shutout. The junior opened the week with seven saves and just one goal allowed in Mercy's 4-1 win at STAC on Wednesday. Sanchez ended the week with two saves to earn the shutout in the Mavericks' 0-0 draw against Staten Island on Saturday.
