Player of the Week Zach Philipkoski, Daemen Junior | G | New Hartford, N.Y.  Philiposki averaged 22.5 points per game, shooting 58.5 percent from the field for No. 3 Daemen, who improves to 12-0 on the season after an 83-65 win over Mercy and a 79-60 win over St. Thomas Aquinas. The Daemen junior guard also averaged 9.5 rebounds per game and 4.0 assists per game. Philipkoski poured in a season-high 27 points on 73 percent shooting from the field (11-of-15 FG), including a 67 percent mark from three (4-of-6 3FG, also logging eight rebounds, three assists, and three steals in Daemen's win over Mercy on Friday. On Sunday against STAC, he logged a double-double, posting 18 points and 11 rebounds while dishing out five assists with three steals. Defensive Player of the Week Justin Hemphill, Daemen Redshirt Senior | F | Buffalo, N.Y. Hemphill was a defensive stalwart for No. 3 Daemen, who improves to 12-0 on the season after an 83-65 win over Mercy and a 79-60 win over St. Thomas Aquinas. The Daemen redshirt senior forward scrapped for nine rebounds (five defensive), with five steals to go with six points and eight assists in 35 minutes at Mercy on Friday. Hemphill then went off for 13 rebounds (10 defensive) with four blocks and a steal with 10 points for a double-double at St. Thomas Aquinas. Across two conference wins, Hemphill averaged 11.0 rebounds per game, 3.0 steals per game, and 2.0 blocks per game while holding Daemen’s opposition to 62.5 points per game.  Rookie of the Week Sean Reynolds, D’Youville Freshman | G | Dekalb, Ill.  Reynolds poured in 24 points (7-of-15 FG) with six three-pointers in a six-point loss to St. Thomas Aquinas and 26 points (8-of-11 FG) with four three-pointers in a five-point, double-overtime loss to Mercy. The DYU freshman guard shot a perfect 10-of-10 from the stripe in those two contests and added eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  ECC Weekly Honor Roll Aaron Goldstein, Staten Island Junior | G | Staten Island, N.Y. Goldstein averaged 20.0 points per game across two Division II contests last week, with 10 assists, including six at District of Columbia. Against the Firebirds, Goldstein got 50 percent (3-of-6) from behind the arc. For the week, he shot 44 percent (14-of-32) from the field.  TJ Holloway, Mercy Senior | G | Stratford, Conn. Holloway averaged a team-high 19.0 points per game with 7.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game as Mercy went 1-2 on the week. The senior opened the week with 16 points and eight rebounds against RV Adelphi on Tuesday. The guard then had 16 points, five rebounds, and five assists against No. 3 Daemen on Friday. Holloway ended the week with a team-high-tying 25 points on 11-of-12 shooting from the foul line with nine rebounds in Mercy's come-from-behind, double-overtime, 103-98 win over D'Youville on Sunday.  Asa Kone, Staten Island Senior | F | Bronx, N.Y. Kone finished off a two-game week with a team-leading 21.5 points per game, with his highest performance being featured in the comeback victory over District of Columbia on Saturday with 23 points. The CSI senior notched a double-double in the weekend event with 15 rebounds and capped off the week averaging 12.0 rebounds per game. Additionally, Kone recorded two blocks and four steals through the two games to lead the Dolphins defensively.  Dylan Kopp, Molloy Sophomore | G | East Quogue, N.Y. Kopp tallied a game-high 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the floor and 3-of-4 from three-point range in Molloy’s 90-75 win over Roberts Wesleyan. Henri Mennander, Queens Freshman | F | Helsinki, Finland Over two games, Mennander averaged 13.0 points per game, 9.0 rebounds per game, and 1.5 blocks per game. Mennander began the week with nine points and four rebounds against Franklin Pierce. In the 92-86 ECC victory over Roberts Wesleyan, Mennander recorded his third career double-double and second in ECC play with a team-high 17 points, 14 rebounds, three blocks, one assist, and one steal. Jordan Trahan, Mercy Junior | G | New Orleans, La. Trahan averaged 16.0 points per game and a team-high 8.0 rebounds per game with 3.7 steals and 2.0 assists per game as Mercy went 1-2 on the week. The junior opened the week with 10 points, eight rebounds, two assists, three steals, and one block against RV Adelphi on Tuesday. The guard then had 13 points, four rebounds, four steals, and one assist against No. 3 Daemen on Friday. Trahan ended the week with a team-high-tying 25 points on 10-of-20 shooting with a team-high 12 rebounds to go with four steals, three assists, and one block in Mercy's come-from-behind, double-overtime, 103-98 win over D'Youville on Sunday. Jared Weakly, Molloy Junior | F | Valley Stream, N.Y. Weakly anchored the Lions’ front court in its 90-75 victory over Roberts Wesleyan on Friday. The junior posted a game-high 14 rebounds, with 10 coming on the defensive glass, while tying a game-high three steals and two blocks.
