He notched a team-high 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for his fifth double-double of the season to go with three assists, one steal, and one block in an 83-64 over California (Pa.) and followed up with a team-high 19 points on perfect 8-of-8 shooting from the field with eight rebounds, three assists, and two blocks in a 74-64 win over Clarion. Defensive Player of the Week Senior | F | Philadelphia, Pa. Campbell boasted 25 rebounds, 19 of which were defensive, with four steals and four blocks across two contests last week. The Queens senior forward opened the week with his first career double-double, scoring a career-high 31 points on 60.0 percent shooting, 10 rebounds, two blocks, and one steal against Adelphi. Facing defending East Regional champion Assumption, Campbell posted 22 points on 62.5 percent shooting, a career-high 15 rebounds, two blocks, and three steals, marking his second consecutive double-double. Rookie of the Week Freshman | F | Helsinki, Finland Mennander averaged 14.0 points per game on 70.6 percent shooting (12-of-17 FG) and 9.5 rebounds per game, including one double-double. The Queens freshman forward tallied six points and seven rebounds against Adelphi before going off against defending East Regional champion Assumption with his first career double-double on a career-best 22 points (9-of-13 FG) and 12 rebounds with three assists. Hemphill continues to stuff the stat sheet night in and night out for No. 3 Daemen, and his efforts propelled the Wildcats to wins over California (Pa.) and Clarion last week. Hemphill averaged 14.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 71 percent from the field in the two Daemen victories. Senior | F | Bronx, N.Y. Kone was a massive defensive presence for the Dolphins in their 1-1 week. Against Pace, The CSI senior forward led the team with three blocks and grabbed nine rebounds while against Georgian Court a few days later, Kone was one rebound shy of a double-double with 18 points, and nine rebounds, including seven defensive boards. Junior | G | Laurelton, N.Y. Merchant posted a double-double in the Lions’ lone game last week at Holy Family. The Molloy junior totaled 21 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists while shooting 58 percent from the floor and 6-of-6 from the foul line. Junior | G | Coney Island, N.Y. Prescott found his rhythm over two games, averaging 23.5 points per game on 60.7 percent shooting. Prescott began the week with a career-best 30 points, including five three-pointers, five assists, two rebounds, and one steal against Adelphi. Kohen Rowbatham, Mercy Sophomore | G | Slidell, La.
