Bagattine's time of 28:22.00 was good for an individual first-place finish, while also helping to propel the team to a third-place finish. Bagattine led the way for the team, as the next Molloy competitor in the standings placed eighth. Men's Rookie of the Week Freshman | Monroe, NY Rodriguez Perez was the top Spartan finisher, placing second overall in the men's 8k race with a time of 27:32.9 at the Mount St. Mary College Invite on Sunday, while also helping his team win the event. Women's Runner of the Week Senior | Cornish, NH Senior Rachel Horner-Richardson shined over the weekend as the overall top finisher (out of 108 runners) at the annual Hamilton Short Course event hosted by Hamilton College. Horner-Richardson clocked a 4K time of 14:32.4 (5:51/mile) as she pulled away to win by nearly five seconds down the final stretch. The time is a 4K PR and nearly a full minute faster than her previous top 4K time set two years ago at the same event. Women's Rookie of the Week Freshman | Ronkonkoma, NY Freshman Martina Mileti competed in the Golden Eagle Invitational (Sept. 13), finishing the 5k course in a time of 20:01.40. Mileti's individual performance was good for a third-place finish, playing a crucial role in helping the team secure a first-place finish. ECC Weekly Honor Roll Daniel DeGregori, Queens Junior | East Meadow, NY In the Knights’ season opener at the Golden Eagles Invitational, junior Daniel DeGregori was the top Knight to finish among the men as he earned a third-place finish with a time of 28:27.0 on Saturday afternoon. Jackson Doran, Roberts Wesleyan Senior | Lockport, NY Senior Jackson Doran opened the 2025 season with an impressive fourth-place finish at the annual Hamilton Short Course event. Doran finished fourth (out of 112 runners) and led Roberts to a second-place team finish. He clocked a 15:26.5 (4:59/mile) over the 5K course. Carli Sheiffele, Molloy Sophomore | Mount Sinai, NY Sophomore Carli Sheiffele competed in the Golden Eagle Invitational (Sept. 13) this past Saturday, completing the 5k course in a time of 19:36.70. Sheiffele's individual time was good for second at the meet, while also playing an integral part in the team securing a first-place finish. Sheiffele was one of only two competitors who finished the 5k in under 20 minutes. Senior | Esopus, NY In the Knights' season opener at the Golden Eagles Invitational, senior Rachel Mow led the women's side with a fourth-place finish as she completed the course in 20:03.1. Adriana Roa, Staten Island Freshman | Farmingville, NY Propelled CSI to a 2nd-place finish at the Golden Eagle Invitational. She finished 5th overall, the highest placement since CSI joined Division II, while breaking the women's 5K record with a time of 20:06.60. Gianni Mauri, St. Thomas Aquinas Freshman | Farmingville, NY Mauri was the top STAC finisher, placing third overall in the women's 5k race with a time of 22:11.6 at the Mount St. Mary College Invite on Sunday, while also helping her team place second in the event.
