Men's Runner of the Week Freshman | Monroe, NY Freshman Anthony Baldasano continued his success this Saturday at the Highlander Invitational. Baldasano ran a time of 26:32.9 in the 8k, which was good for seventh overall and first amongst ECC competitors in a race including 152 competitors. Men's Rookie of the Week Freshman | Tappan, NY Whitton placed 33rd in the men's 8k race with a time of 27:55.2 at the NJIT Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, while also helping his team to a fifth-place overall finish. Women's Runner of the Week Senior | Malverne, NY Senior Kathleen Healy ran a career-best 18:33.7 in the 5k this past Saturday at the Highlander Invitational. Healy led the way for the Lions, placing fifth out of 111 competitors and first amongst ECC competitors. Women's Rookie of the Week Freshman | Ronkonkoma, NY Freshman Martina Mileti ran a personal-best 19:23.6 in the Highlander Invitational this past Saturday. Mileti was the second freshman, and first amongst ECC competitors to finish the race, earning 11 points for the team. Mileti placed 12th out of 111 competitors. ECC Weekly Honor Roll Daniel DeGregori, Queens Junior | East Meadow, NY Junior Daniel DeGregori posted a career-best time of 26:47.9, finishing 11th overall at the 21st Annual NJIT Invitational on Saturday. Peter Galletta, Staten Island Freshman | Staten Island, NY Led the team in the race, finishing first out of the Dolphins. He posted a time of 28:47 in the 8k race, which sits 3rd in the CSI All-Time Freshman 8k time. Ronaldo Rodriguez Perez, St. Thomas Aquinas Freshman | Monroe, NY Rodriguez Perez was the top Spartan finisher, placing 19th in the men's 8k race with a time of 27:19.4 at the NJIT Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, while also helping his team to a fifth-place overall finish. Women Rachel Mow, Queens Senior | Esopus, NY Senior Rachel Mow posted a career-best time of 19:30.4, finishing 15th at the 21st Annual NJIT Invitational on Saturday. Lilianna Peters, D’Youville Junior | Olean, NY Peters once again paced the Saints, being the top placer at the Highlander Invitational, where she placed 13th out of 188 competitors. Peters finished with a time of 22:37.8 in the 6k race. Adriana Roa, Staten Island Freshman | Farmingville, NY Roa had another record-breaking performance on the cross-country course at the NJIT Invitational. She set a personal record in a 5k race, which set a new standard in the program's record book and the NJIT course record. Elaina Williams, D’Youville Freshman | Cato, NY Williams continues her strong freshman season this past weekend at the Highlander Invitational, placing 30th in the field of 188 runners. Williams finished with a time of 23:36.7, setting a new 6k freshman record for the Saints.
