Men's Runner of the Week Sophomore | Fort Recovery, OH Sophomore Trevor Heitkamp raced to a 13th-place (out of 182 runners) finish to lead the Roberts Wesleyan men's team at the Canisius College Alumni Race Saturday in Buffalo. He finished the 8K race in 25:51.2 as the Redhawks raced in the final regular-season meet before the ECC Championships race this weekend on Long Island. Men's Rookie of the Week Freshman | Greencastle, PA Freshman Joel Amstutz ran his best race of the season in a competitive field with a majority of Division I runners at the Canisius College Alumni Race in Buffalo. He placed 26th overall (out of 182 runners) with a personal-best time of 26:35.1 over the 8K course. He was the third Roberts runner to cross the line and helped the Redhawks to a fifth-place finish. Women's Runner of the Week Sophomore | Denver, CO Sophomore Paige Reeser clocked a PR in the 5K race at the Canisius College Alumni meet over the weekend to lead Roberts to a second-place team finish in the final tune-up race for the ECC Championships. Reeser crossed the finish line in sixth place overall (out of 154 runners) with a career-best time of 18:14.4. Women's Rookie of the Week Freshman | Snyder, NY Freshman Emma Lipa ran another personal best 5K time as she helped Roberts Wesleyan to a second-place team finish as the final regular season race of the season. Lipa crossed the line in 28th place (out of 154 runners) with a time of 19:28.1 and was the top Division II freshman in the race. ECC Weekly Honor Roll Laertes Cushing, Daemen Graduate Student | Alfred, NY Cushing was Daemen's top finisher for the first time in his career, pacing the Wildcats at the Canisius Alumni Classic with a time of 30:32.5. Daniel DeGregori, Queens Junior | East Meadow, NY Competing in the St. Joseph’s Invitational on Saturday afternoon, junior Daniel DeGregori paced the squad with a seventh-place finish, clocking in at 28:45.5. Ibrahim Hakizimana, Daemen Freshman | Rochester, NY Hakizimana was Daemen's second finisher at the Canisius Alumni Classic, finishing 135th out of 182 runners with a time of 30:32.7. Women Rachel Horner-Richardson, Roberts Wesleyan Senior | Cornish, NH Senior Rachel Horner-Richardson had another solid finish as she placed seventh overall (out of 154 runners) to help Roberts to a second-place team finish at the Canisius College Alumni race on Saturday. The Redhawks were second only to Division I Binghamton in the final team standings and finished two points ahead of Division I Detroit Mercy in the standings. Rachel Mow, Queens Senior | Esopus, NY Competing in the St. Joseph’s Invitational on Saturday afternoon, senior Rachel Mow led the women's cross country team by placing first with a time of 20:47.2. Patsy Oberholzer, Daemen Senior | Greece, NY Oberholzer was Daemen's top finisher for the fourth time in as many races this season, as she placed 85th out of 154 runners with a time of 21:00.7.
