Dover, Del. (Mar. 7, 2023) --- The visiting Delaware State women's lacrosse team was unable to recover from another slow start, resulting in a 12-7 loss to Eastern Michigan today. The Eagles led 6-1 after the first period and 8-1 early in the second in posting their first win of the season (1-2). The Hornets dropped their third in a row to fall to 2-3 this season. Avery Schwab and Skylar Hilmer scored three goals each to lead Eastern Michigan, while Gwenna Gentle was the top scorer for Delaware State with three goals, while Ebony Reddick added two.
