Elizabeth City, N.C. - Today marks a milestone for ECSU Athletics, as we celebrate the one-year anniversary of the hiring of Director of Athletics James M. Dubose, Jr. In his time at the helm of Viking Athletics, with the help of the student-athletes brought two CIAA Championships back to Elizabeth City. As well as, being a recipient of numerous grants. "This first year has been nothing short of amazing! It has been humbling to see history and transformation unfold as our student-athletes have excelled in the classroom and in competition. I'm grateful to Chancellor Dixon for the opportunity to lead this department. The support from my family, athletic staff, campus partners, community leaders, fans, and friends have truly propelled us this past year. The best is truly yet to come," said the Director of Athletics on Tuesday.
