JACKSONVILLE, FLA. -- Edward Waters University is proud to announce that Ashley Conner, Deputy Athletic Director, participated in the NCAA Dr. Charles Whitcomb Leadership Institute, a highly regarded program dedicated to developing the next generation of leaders in collegiate athletics administration. Since joining Edward Waters in July 2023, Conner has made a significant impact on the university's athletic department. Initially serving as Associate Athletic Director for Student Services and Senior Woman Administrator, she oversaw NCAA compliance, student services, and academic support, ensuring the success and welfare of student-athletes. Her leadership has been instrumental in elevating the department's operations, fostering a supportive environment, and enhancing the university's athletic profile. Recently promoted to Deputy Athletic Director, Conner continues to drive strategic initiatives and champion student-athlete development. Her contributions extend beyond athletics, as she previously served as Executive Director of Student Success and Retention, leading efforts to improve academic integration, student retention, and leadership training for first- and second-year students.
