Dover, Del. (Feb. 21, 2023) --- Delaware State's Peter Kamanu (so.; Frederick, Md.) is the MEAC men's indoor pole vault champion for the second year in a row. Kamanu won his second straight title with a top leap of 4.50 meters (14'9") during the third day of the 2023 MEAC championship at the Virginia Beach Sports Center today. His winning effort was .50 meters better than runner-up Malik Brown of Morgan State's best jump of 4.00 meters (13'1.5"). Kamanu ths year also bettered his 2022 MEAC indoor championship mark of 4.40 meters. .
