Dover, Del. (May 15, 2023) --- Delaware State's Alonzo Sims (fr.; Upper Marlboro, Md.) turned in a fourth-place finish at the 2023 IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Championships at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., last weekend. Sims, the 2023 MEAC Outdoor 400 hurdles champion, earned five points for the Hornets at the IC4A/ECAC meet with a time of 52.76 seconds in the field of 11 competitors. Michael Arnold of UMBC was the winner at 52.27 seconds. Sims posted the second-best 400 hurdles outdoor time in the MEAC this season at 52.57 seconds during his first-place finish in the conference championship race on May 9 in Norfolk, Va.
