(May 8, 2023) --- The Delaware State women's golf team sits in third place after the opening round of the 2023 PGA Works Team Championship at Bent Brook Golf Course in Bessemer, Al., on Monday. The Hornets posted a combined score of 297 (+13), 14 shots behind front-runner Texas A&M Corpus Christi (283; -1) and six strokes behind second place Howard (291; +7) in the 11-team field.
