MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | The quest to defend the title started off in favor of the Lions as Florida Memorial dismantled the Virgin Islands 103-71 in the season opener at the FMU Wellness Center. A total of five Lions finished in double-figures, with Cam'Ron Wilson on top of the list with a team-high 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field, burying three 3-pointers and grabbing six boards.
