Durham, N.C. (May 3, 2024) - In the first event of the day, women's javelin, Shaw’s Kamile Patrick threw a new personal best and a NCAA qualifying mark of 37.77 meters. In the Men’s long jump, Markus White from Virginia State emerged atop the leaderboard with a 7.41-meter mark. Kahlil West finished with a jump of 6.95 meters which was good for second place and Jahaz Morgan close behind in third at 6.94 meters.
