MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan University women's soccer team closed out the 2025 season in the opening round of the Conference Carolinas Championship against Ferrum University. The Hawks and Panthers were tied 2-2 at the end of regulation, sending the match into a 10-minute overtime period. Ferrum found the back of the net in extra time under the golden goal rule to take the 3-2 final. With the result, the Hawks conclude the season with an overall record of 7-9-1 and a 7-6-1 mark in Conference Carolinas play.
