BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. – The Chowan University men's soccer team faced Young Harris College in the Conference Carolinas Semifinals on Thursday evening, coming up just one goal short in a competitive matchup. After the Mountain Lions struck first, the Hawks responded with two goals in the opening half to take a 2-1 advantage into the break. Young Harris regained momentum late in the second half, converting twice to move ahead 3-2. Chowan pushed for a late equalizer, taking multiple chances to score, but could not convert before the clock ran out. With the result, Chowan concludes its season with a 10-4-4 overall record.
