Chavez Individual CIAA Champion; Trojans place fourth as a team at CIAA Championships

Leland, N.C. (Apr. 15, 2025)- The Virginia State University Golf team competed in the CIAA Championships over the past two days and placed fourth with a team score of +66. David Chavez placed first as an individual with a score of –1 (77,66,72). Chavez 66 is an unofficial lowest round in CIAA history.
