RICHMOND, Va. (Feb. 2, 2024) – Five of the top six teams in the CAA Women’s Basketball standings won on Friday night, including Monmouth defeating Towson in a rematch of the 2023 CAA title game. Additionally, Stony Brook and North Carolina A&T earned convincing victories to remain in first place, while Charleston kept pace with Monmouth in their tie for third. Drexel also earned a key victory, moving into a tie for fifth with William & Mary, who had a bye today. Finally, Northeastern improved to .500 in league play, moving within one game of the Dragons and Tribe.
