RICHMOND, Va. (Feb. 18, 2024) – A double overtime thriller, which created movement in the CAA Women’s Basketball standings, highlighted Sunday’s six-game slate. Monmouth extended its program-record road winning streak by edging North Carolina A&T in a game featuring 10 minutes of free basketball. It was significant because Stony Brook won, moving into sole possession of first place, and Charleston was victorious to climb within 0.5 a game of the Aggies, who remain in second. Additionally, it vaulted Monmouth into fourth place after Campbell defeated William & Mary. In other action, Drexel won a nailbiter over Delaware, and Hofstra earned a dominant victory at home.
