#CAAHoops WBB Recap – Feb. 12 – Top-Five Teams Separated by 1.5 Games Following Wild Weekend in Women’s Basketball

RICHMOND, Va. (Feb. 12, 2023) – A wild Thursday and Friday were followed by a chaotic Sunday in CAA Women’s Basketball. The Biggest winner over the weekend was William & Mary, which improved to 8-1 over its last nine games with a win over North Carolina A&T on Sunday. With the win, the Tribe moved into a tie for second with the Aggies, and following Monmouth’s win over Drexel this afternoon, the top five teams in the conference standings are separated by just 1.5 games. Stony Brook and Towson, who round out the league’s top five, won on Sunday. In addition, Charleston set a program record for made three-point field goals, and Northeastern shot over 50.0 in all four quarters in road wins for the Cougars and Huskies.
