RICHMOND, Va. (Sept. 25, 2023) – The CAA has announced its volleyball weekly award winners following the fifth week of the 2023 season. North Carolina A&T junior outside hitter Naiya Sawtelle earned CAA Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Charleston junior libero Tynley Smeltzer and UNCW junior middle Grace Melnick shared CAA Defensive Player of the Week accolades. In addition, North Carolina A&T freshman outside hitter Kaili Doctor was named CAA Rookie of the Week.
