RICHMOND, Va. (May 8, 2023) – The CAA has announced its final softball weekly awards for the 2023 season following the conclusion of the regular season. Elon sophomore outfielder Chloe Hatzopoulos was named CAA Player of the Week after a monster week at the plate. In addition, Towson junior Maddie Gardner and Delaware graduate Taylor Wroten shared CAA Pitcher of the Week honors with dominating efforts in the circle. Finally, Delaware freshman outfielder Katie Scheivert collected her league-leading fourth CAA Rookie of the Week honors this spring.
