RICHMOND, Va. (Feb. 21, 2023) – The CAA has announced its softball weekly awards following the second weekend of the spring season. Elon senior first baseman Claudia Penny earned CAA Player of the Week honors, and Towson junior Maddie Gardner received CAA Pitcher of the Week accolades. Delaware freshman Katie Scheivert was named CAA Rookie of the Week for the second straight week to begin the season.
