RICHMOND, Va. (Dec. 5, 2023) – The CAA has announced its first indoor track and field weekly awards for the 2023-24 season. Towson swept the women’s honors, with junior sprinter Cristal Cuervo earning CAA Track Athlete of the Week and sophomore Manie Mevo taking home CAA Field Athlete of the Week. North Carolina A&T claimed both men’s awards as senior sprinter Caleb Jackson was named CAA Track Athlete of the Week, and junior thrower Carlos Alexander received CAA Field Athlete of the Week recognition.
