Bulldogs Drop Series Opener 5-3 in Game Shortened Due to Weather

A pair of runs in the top of the seventh gave Mississippi Valley State the first win of the series on Thursday afternoon with a 5-3 game at the Bulldog Baseball Field. The seven-inning contest was cut short due to lightning and oncoming weather in the area.
