BUCKNOR NAMED OAKWOOD UNIVERSITY PLAYER OF THE WEEK

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Cameryn Bucknor, a 5-foot-4 senior setter, has been named Oakwood University's Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 1-7.   A former standout at Oakwood Adventist Academy, Bucknor finished the week with 46 assists, 30 digs, three kills and three aces.   She had 29 assists, 20 digs and two aces in a 3-2 win over LeMoyne-Owen College on Wednesday. Bucknor followed up that effort with 17 assists, 10 digs, three kills and an ace in a 3-1 loss to NCAA Division II Miles College on Thursday.   Honorable Mention honors go to Kamaria Murray (34 kills, 9 digs, 6 aces, 4 assists, 2 blocks), Alexis Wiley (25 digs, 14 assists), Arial Smith (29 digs, 6 aces) and Morgan Bone (20 kills, 2 blocks).   Follow the Ambassadors Visit the official home of Oakwood University athletics at Oakwood University - Official Athletics Website.
