LORMAN, Miss. – Alcorn State Athletics announces the promotion of Tim Smith to Senior Associate Athletic Director, Internal Operations as of August 2023. In this role, Tim oversees day-to-day functions of the department's internal operations, which includes procurement, Human Resources facilities, events, and game operations. Smith has served on the Master Campus Plan Committee as well as the Strategic Plan Committee for athletics. Smith will continue to serve on the athletic department senior leadership team and provide oversight for the day-to-day operations of the department.
