LORMAN, Miss. – Alcorn State Athletics announce the promotion of Jivanna Smith to Associate AD (Student-Athlete Services) as of August 2023. Smith joined the Alcorn State University Athletics Department in October 2015 and has served in several positions during her tenure at Alcorn. She has served as a graduate assistant for both Athletic Compliance and Academic Affairs, Academic Advisor/Tutor Coordinator, Coordinator of Student-Athlete Services and Assistant Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Services. In her role, she assists in the growth and development of the student-athletes by constructing educational plans that are compatible with life goals.
