BRADLEY SHINES FOR OAKWOOD AGAINST WILEY

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Kyler Bradley had four hits, including a pair of doubles and an RBI, but Wiley University took all three games against Oakwood University in an HBCU Athletic Conference series Friday and Saturday at John Hunt Park. The Wildcats downed the Ambassadors 6-1, 10-2 and 7-0. Oakwood fell to 2-27 overall and 2-16 in league play. Game 1 Jeremy Matos had two hits, while Bradley and Jorge Hernandez had one each. Hernandez tripled and scored in the bottom of the second inning to tie the game at 1-1, but Oakwood was shut out the rest of the way. Eli Kennedy (0-6) took the loss, allowing six runs, four earned, on eight hits in seven innings. He walked four and struck out one. Game 2 Bradley was 3-for-4, including two doubles, and an RBI to lead the Ambassadors offensively, Tedrus Hamilton was 2-for-3, while Joshua Mack, Derrick Sanders, Treyvon Jones, Matos and Hernandez had one hit each. Dakota Cobb (0-4) took the loss, allowing 10 runs, nine earned, on 13 hit in seven innings. He walked two and struck out six. Game 3 Oakwood failed to record a hit in the series finale. Wiley built a 7-0 lead through the first two innings and cruised the rest of the way. Dawryn Coronado (0-4) took the loss, allowing seven runs, six earned, on eight hits in four innings.
